Executor Image Manager

<p>This workflow helps <strong>KNIME Administrators</strong> manage the <strong>Executor Image List</strong> on <strong>KNIME Business Hub</strong>.<br>It supports adding, modifying, deleting, and building custom executor images through an integrated guided process.</p><p>This workflow simplifies the creation and management of executor images by using the <strong>image builder</strong> and <strong>deletion services</strong> included with <strong>KNIME Business Hub 1.16</strong>.</p><p><strong><em>Define Action</em></strong></p><p>Select the action you want to perform to manage your execution images. You can:</p><ul><li><p><strong>Add or Modify Images:</strong><br>Add new or existing executor images from official KNIME releases.</p></li><li><p><strong>Delete Images:</strong><br>Remove images from the internal registry to free up disk space, or from the list of available images if they are not part of the internal registry.</p></li><li><p><strong>Build a Custom Image:</strong><br>Start from a standard KNIME image or upload your own custom Dockerfile.</p></li></ul><p>You can also define a <strong>custom set of properties</strong> for your executor, depending on the selected action.</p><p>When adding existing images, they are retrieved from the <strong>official KNIME public registry</strong> and added to your list of available images.<br>If these images require additional extensions not included in the standard versions, you should <strong>build your own custom image</strong> and store it in the internal or external registry.</p><p><strong><em>Build Custom Executor Images (previously Executor Image Builder)</em></strong><br>The guided process consists of five steps:</p><ol><li><p><strong>Setup Executor Version and Advanced Settings</strong><br>Define the base version and advanced properties of your new executor image.</p></li><li><p><strong>Extension Selection</strong><br>Scan spaces on your KNIME Business Hub instance to automatically identify and include the extensions required by your workflows.<br>Alternatively, manually select the extensions you wish to install.</p></li><li><p><strong>Integration Configuration</strong><br>Configure Python and R scripting environments and specify the required packages to include in the image.</p></li><li><p><strong>Preview and Download Dockerfile</strong><br>Review the generated Dockerfile and make manual adjustments before sending it to the image builder service.</p></li><li><p><strong>Build the Image</strong><br>The image builder service compiles the image, pushes it to the container registry, and returns the <strong>final image URL</strong>, which can be used to set up a new execution context.</p></li></ol><p><strong>Permissions:</strong></p><ul><li><p>Only <strong>Global Admins</strong> can add, modify, delete, build and publish images.</p></li></ul>
