KNIME Hub Authenticator

Authenticates against a KNIME Hub. The resulting output port allows compatible nodes, such as the Space Connector, to access the configured Hub.

Options

Hub selection
Select how to connect to the KNIME Hub.
  • Current KNIME Hub: If the current workflow already resides on a KNIME Hub, then this option connects to the KNIME Hub using the credentials (i.e. the access token) of the current user.
  • KNIME Hub Mountpoint: This option allows to specify a mountpoint (see Space Explorer) that connects to a KNIME Hub. Unconnected mountpoints are greyed out and can still be selected, but you need to go to the Space Explorer and sign in to the mountpoint before executing this node.
  • Other KNIME Hub: Allows to authenticate against any KNIME Hub by specifying a URL and Application Password.
Mountpoint
Select a KNIME Hub mountpoint from the Space Explorer. If the mountpoint is not connected, you need to sign in to it before executing this node.
Hub API URL
The base URL of the KNIME Hub REST API, for example https://api.hub.knime.com/.
Application password
Provide the application password ID and password to authenticate against the KNIME Hub. The password will be stored in weakly encrypted form as part of the node settings. (Use credentials flow variables to prevent this.)
Output Hub URL flow variable
When enabled, outputs a flow variable with the URL of the selected KNIME Hub.
Variable name
The name of the flow variable with the KNIME Hub URL.
