Options

Include subfolders
If checked, the listing recurses into all subfolders of the directory; if unchecked, only its direct contents are listed.
SMB credentials
Username and password used to authenticate against the SMB server (NTLM). The username accepts DOMAIN\user or user@DOMAIN. The password is not stored with the workflow; enter it in this dialog before executing.
Port (fileserver mode only)
Only used when Connect to = fileserver. TCP port the SMB service listens on; 445 is the standard SMB port. Ignored in domain mode.
Connect to
How to reach the share. fileserver = connect directly to one SMB server; uses Host, Port and Share. domain = connect via a Windows Active Directory domain (locates the server or DFS namespace for you); uses Domain and Share/Namespace. The parameters of the other mode are ignored.
What to list
Choose whether the output contains files, folders, or both. Files in folders = files only; Folders = folders only; Files and folders = both.
Host (fileserver mode only)
Only used when Connect to = fileserver. Host name or IP address of the SMB file server (Windows Server, Samba, ...), without backslashes or share name, e.g. "fileserver.example.com". Ignored in domain mode.
Share (fileserver mode only)
Only used when Connect to = fileserver. Name of the file share on the server, without backslashes, e.g. "marketing" for \\server\marketing. Ignored in domain mode (use Share/Namespace there).
Domain (domain mode only) (*)
Only used when Connect to = domain. Name of the Windows Active Directory domain, e.g. "company.com". Ignored in fileserver mode.
Share/Namespace (domain mode only) (*)
Only used when Connect to = domain. Name of the file share or DFS namespace in the domain, without backslashes, e.g. "marketing" for \\company.com\marketing. Ignored in fileserver mode (use Share there).
Directory to list
Folder inside the SMB share to list, given as a path relative to the share root. Use forward slashes and a leading slash, e.g. "/sales/2025". "/" (the default) lists the share root. Backslashes (\sales\2025) are accepted too; the workflow converts forward slashes to the SMB separator before building the path.
