This node allows geocoding of street addresses, such as “1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA”,
to geographic coordinates, such as
(37.423021, -122.083739) using
Google’s geocoding API.
To use the Google Maps API, a free API key for the Open Data API is required, which can be obtained here. Enter your API key in the KNIME Preferences under KNIME → Palladian → Geocoders. The free plan allows 15,000 requests/month.
