Replace File

Replaces the content of an uploaded file, keeping its ID so existing references to it (e.g. from a schedule) keep working. The replacement must have the same MIME type as the original. Only files of type upload can be replaced, not artifacts produced by a run.

Result Format

Specify how the response should be mapped to the table output. The following formats are available:

Structured Table: Returns a parsed table with data split into rows and columns.

• ID: Stringified ObjectId (hexadecimal string with 24 characters). See ObjectId
• Kind: Identifies this object as a file.
• Original Name: File name including the extension.
• Mime Type: MIME type of the file.
• Size: File size in bytes.
• Path: Internal storage path.
• Created At: When the file was created.
• Updated At: When the file was last changed (renamed or its content replaced).
• Created By: A NodePit Runner user account.
• Updated By: A NodePit Runner user account.
• Project: Stringified ObjectId (hexadecimal string with 24 characters). See ObjectId
• Deletable: Whether this file can be deleted (no environment, schedule, or run references it).
• Type: Whether a file was manually uploaded (upload) or produced automatically as a run's output (artifact).
• Download: URL to download the file, relative the API base URL. Absent if the file's content is no longer available.
• Preview: URL to preview the file, relative the API base URL. Only ever present for KNIME workflow files.

Raw Response: Returns the raw response in a single row with the following columns:

• body: Response body
• status: HTTP status code
