Assign Colors to a Chart

Assign Custom Colors to a Chart

This workflow shows how to assign colors to data displayed in the Stacked Area Chart and the Bar Chart.
To do so, we first extract the table specifications with the Extract Table Spec node (you could also use the Extract Column Header node here). Then we assign customized colors to columns using the Color Manager. The trick is to select and mark the column of interest in the configuration, before choosing a color on one of the color scheme tabs underneath.

The fictive data set we are visualizing here describes death reasons in a fictive human population and according death rates over time, and is created with the Table Creator node.
