Frequency VAL

Frequency analysis counts the occurrences of individual data values in columns that contain categorical data. Frequency analysis is useful in understanding the meaning of a particular data element and can point out the need to recode some of the data values found, either permanently or in the course of building an analytic data set.

Options

Aggregated Filter
Specifies the clause to restrict returned aggregations. E.g. xpct > 1 (where xpct is an input column).
Input Columns
Specifies the name(s) of the column(s) to analyze.
Cumulative Option
Specifies whether to include rank, cumulative count, and cumulative percent information for each frequency value.
Filter
Specifies the clause to filter rows selected for analysis within Frequency. E.g. income > 0 (where income is an input column).
Minimum Percentage
Specifies a value to determine whether to include only frequency values that occur a minimum percentage of the time.
Pairwise Columns
Specifies the columns to be paired up with the frequency columns.
Statistics Columns
Specifies the name(s) of column(s) for which the minimum, maximum, mean value, and standard deviation are included in the result with the values computed over the rows corresponding to the individual values of the frequency columns.
Style
Specifies the frequency style for the analysis.
Top Frequency Values
Specifies the number of frequency values to include.
Output Schema
Output Schema, if Volatile is true then use user login as the schema.
