data.world Table Reader

Reads a table of data from a specified data.world Dataset file. Note that files in a Dataset that do not contain tabular data (and thus are not accessible for direct querying on data.world) are not supported by this node.

Options

Dataset URL or Name

Specify the name of the Dataset on data.world that contains the file of tabular data to be read, then click the "Fetch Available Tables" button to populate a pulldown selector with available files. The Dataset may be specified as a URL (e.g. https://data.world/jonloyens/an-intro-to-dataworld-dataset) or as an "account/dataset" short path (e.g. jonloyens/an-intro-to-dataworld-dataset) or merely as the name of the Dataset (e.g. an-intro-to-dataworld-dataset) if the named Dataset is owned by the same user whose account credentials are used to access data.world services.

Selected Table

Select the desired file from the available files of tabular data discovered inside the data.world Dataset (specified in the above input). To populate this pulldown selector with available files, first specify a valid Dataset then click the "Fetch Available Tables" button to query data.world for available files (be aware that the query to data.world may take a few seconds to complete). If after a reasonable delay no available files are listed in the pulldown, this could signal that there are no files containing tabular data in this particular Dataset.
