This node opens a local Python session, converts the data table from KNIME into a Python dictionary and imports it into the Python interpreter as a variable. The KNIME data table is made available as variable named "kIn". This is to facilitate the testing of code for snippets and plots.
This node is using Python as backend. It can use a local instance or a remote server. Check the python scripting preferences: (KNIME->Preferences->KNIME->Python scripting). Further documentation can be found on the Scripting integration Wiki (Python server)
