Lists, retrieves, creates, and updates courts. Supports full-text search on name, aliases, and code via the search query parameter. Filter by state, jurisdiction, level of appeal, and more. Write operations require authentication; new courts are set to pending review.

Result Format

Specify how the response should be mapped to the table output. The following formats are available:

Structured Table: Returns a parsed table with data split into rows and columns.

• City: Court belongs to this city, if null court is state-level
• State: Court belongs to this state (derive country of this field)
• Code: Unique court identifier based on ECLI (e.g. BVerfG)
• Slug: Type & city name as lowercase

• Homepage: Official court homepage
• Street Address: Street address with house number
• Postal Code: Postal code (ZIP code)
• Address Locality: Locality (city name)
• Telephone: Telephone number
• Fax Number: Fax number
• Aliases: List of aliases (one per line)
• Jurisdiction: Jurisdiction of court (ordinary, civil, ...)
• Level of Appeal: Subject-matter jurisdiction (local, federal, high court, ...)
• Created Date:
• Updated Date: Holds date time of last db update
• Review Status: Review status for API-submitted courts

Raw Response: Returns the raw response in a single row with the following columns:

• body: Response body
• status: HTTP status code
