Version Creator

Creates a new version for a file (data file, workflow or component) inside a Hub space. Creating a new version "snapshots" the current state of the file and assigns a unique version number. The version number is returned as a string flow variable.

It is not possible to create a version for folders (workflow group) or spaces.

Options

Select file: Select the file in the Hub Space for which you want to create a new version. The file can be a data file, workflow or a component. Note: It is not possible to create versions for folders (workflow groups) or spaces.
Version name: Specify the version name. The name is used for labeling the version and must not be blank.

Input Ports

…: A file system connection to a KNIME Hub Space. The only node that provides this connection is the Space Connector node.

Output Ports

: Provides two flow variables: (1) a path variable that points to the file, and (2) a string variable that contains the version number.
