Validate and Collect Excel Files

Options

Pass through valid Excel data: Select this option to have the data from valid Excel files passed to output port
Append Path Column: Select this option to have the path of the Excel sheet appended to the data output rows
Attempt to Cast Data Types from reference table: If collecting rows from the OK files, select this option to attempt to determine data types of the columns. %%00010%%00010If this is not selected, all columns will be returned as String data type for subsequent processing.%%00010%%00010If selected, an attempt will be made to cast each column to the data type of the reference data table.
Column containing file path: Specify the Path column that contains the file paths for the Excel files to be validated
Sheet Position: Specify the sheet position number, (if selecting sheet by position)
Action if data not compatible: What action to take if the data to be transformed is not compatible with the required data type. If the option to cast column data types based on the reference table is selected, an attempt will be made to cast the column data from each input spreadsheet. If the data is not compatible with the requested type cast, you can specify here whether the original data should be retained, and the type cast ignored (in which case the column data type will be returned in a form compatible with all rows, which is usually String data type), or alternatively, the type cast will be observed, and any incompatible data entries will be returned as missing values.
Sheet Selection Type: Choose the method for selection the sheet to read
Sheet Name: Specify sheet name to select (if selecting sheet by name)
