This workflow provides with a component to extract sheet names from an Excel file in XSLX or XLSM format.

The way it works is by decompressing the Excel file and searching for the sheet names in the decompressed directories.

This solution is an alternative to the KNIME -Read Excel Sheet Names- node when the Excel file is huge or has a huge number of Excel sheets. The solution proposed here doesn't need to read the whole Excel file making it more efficient when the Excel file is huge and eventually saving time and memory.
