Grouped Record ID

The Grouped Record ID adds a unique record identifier that resets to the starting value (default is 1) whenever the values in the grouping fields changes.

Options

Add field as last column
If this field is unselected, the RecordID field will appear as the first column in the table. If it is selected, the RecordID field will appear as the last column in the table.
Grouping Fields
The numeric Record ID will reset to the starting number whenever the values in the grouping fields changes.
Starting Value
The Record ID field will start with this value for each group. Default is 1.
Field Name
Enter the name of the unique record identifier field. Default is "RecordID."

Input Ports

Icon
A standard KNIME table input with one or more fields you wish to group by to create a record ID field.

Output Ports

Icon
A table with a record ID field appended to the beginning or end of the table.
