1 Extract from SAP

The SAP Report node runs T-code FBL5N (report RFITEMAR) and pulls the customer (AR) line items into KNIME.

2 Convert SAP amounts to true numbers

SAP returns amounts as text with a trailing minus, e.g. 11,350.94-. String Manipulation removes the thousands separator and moves the minus to the front; String to Number then casts it to a real number.

3 Explore in KNIME

The component shows an interactive bar chart and a filterable line-item table. Right-click it and choose Open view.

4 Export to Excel

The same cleaned data is also written to an .xlsx file as a take-away.
