Configure Default Usernames Roles and Passwords

This workflow provides an simple way to add users and roles to a KNIME Server that is using the internal user database provided with KNIME Server. Note that if you are using LDAP or OAuth then you will not be able to make use of this workflow. Admin Server Credentials are required to execute this workflow.

Add the list of users and passwords, and the list ofgroups and users who should belong in the groupshere.Also enter server login credentials in the quickformnode. Generating Rolesall roles are created first, only if they don't exist Control Users, Roles and Directory via the Server. This workflow demonstrates how a bigger set of users and roles can be generated. We use the REST API of the KNIME Server to first create a set of roles, than a set of users andfinally for each user a directory. If you want to adapt this workflow, you only need to change the values in table creator and enter your KNIME Server configuration parameter and credentials in the Input REST API URLand Credentials component. Generating UsersIn the second step the missing users are added. Generating DirectoriesIn the last step we generate one directory for each user.
