Deploy Data by Exporting Data to Reports and Tableau Server

The report shows the distribution of income over the work-class.
In order to see the report execute the entire workflow and then click "Open the report" button in the toolbar.
Further, the Workflow also demonstrates the usage of "Send to Tableau Server" node for sending data to Tableau Server


Requirements
- KNIME Extension KNIME Report Designer

Deploy Data by Exporting Report to PDF or HTML

This workflow demonstrates how a report can be exported from a KNIME workflow to a PDF or HTML file.

In this example, we build a report showing the distribution of income over different work classes. In the "Visualization" component, we create a summary that can be shared in two ways: as a PDF document for printing or as an HTML file for viewing in a web browser. To see the results, execute the workflow and open the files (saved in the workflow data area of the workflow).

Export report to PDF file

Step 1: Click on the Report PDF Writer node to open the configuration dialog.

Step 2: Select the Output Location on your computer where you want the final document to be saved.

Step 3: Click "Apply and Execute". The node will turn your workflow data into a PDF file.

Export report to HTML file

Step 1: Click on the Report HTML Writer node to open the configuration dialog.

Step 2: Select the Output Location on your computer where you want the final document to be saved.

Step 3: Click "Apply and Execute". The node will turn your workflow data into a HTML report.

Workflow complete!
