Read Data from Google Drive

Authenticate your Google Account via Sign in

Step 1: Drag the "Google Authentication" node to KNIME Analytics Platform.

Step 2: Click on the node to open Dialog box. Select the scope of the authentication to determine the level of permission you give (e.g., read-only or full access), add scope if necessary.

Step 3: In the "Authentication" Click on the Option "Sign in" and a new tab will open in the browser. Use the browser to sign in. Execute the node to finish the authentication.

Read Data from Google Drive using Reader nodes

Step 1: Drag the appropriate Reader node based on the file type.

Step 2: Click on the plus(+) sign on the side of the node, this will add a blue color port to the input of the node. Connect this port to the output of "Google Drive Connector" node.

Step 3: Double Click on the node to open Dialog box. Select the file using the "Browse" option in "Source" section. Execute the node to read the file.

Connect to Google Drive

Step 1: Drag the "Google Drive Connector" node to KNIME Analytics Platform.

Step 2: Click on the node to open Dialog box. Select the "Working directory" using Browse Option.

Step 3: Execute the node.

Step 1: Drag the "Google Sheet Connection" node to KNIME Analytics Platform and connect it with the output of "Google Authentication" node.

Step 2:Execute the node to establish the connection with the Google Sheets associated with the user's account.

Step 3: Connect the "Google Sheet Reader" node to output of "Google Sheets Connection" node. Click on the node to open the dialog box. Select the "Spreadsheet" and "Sheet". Execute the node to read the Google Sheet.

Note: Follow the steps described below to connect to your own data or upload the sample files provided in the data folder in "01 Read" to your private Google Drive.
