Create EC2 Instance

Create a new EC2 instance using the AWS Python SDK (Boto3). For this component to work you must have Python 3 configured in KNIME with the Boto3 library installed.

Options

Instance Profile:

Name of IAM instance profile to use.

Subnet Identifier:

Identifier of the subnet to place the new instance.

Key Pair Name:

Name of the key pair that will be used to access the instance.

Region:

Input the AWS Region to use

Name Tag:

The value to use in the "Name" tag for the instance.

Instance Type

Enter the instance type.

Image (AMI) Identifier:

Identifier of the image (AMI) used to launch the instance.

Security Group Identifier:

Identifier of the security group to use.
