The paper edition of the Bundesgesetzblatt contains the official version of the laws.</p><p>The source data is converted into XML by a program and stripped of superfluous markup and formatting. No databases are used.</p><p>The output data prepared in this way is the basis for a current research project on the automatic recognition and linking of the contents of laws.</p><p>The laws are available in German. The workflow provided here accesses this data. It can be used for statistical purposes or for tokenization, for example.</p>
