Ranking Services

Go to Product

The “Ranking Services” node can retrieve web page ranking values from different web-based ranking services. The following services are currently supported:

  • BibSonomy – Get the number of bookmarks of a given URL on BibSonomy. It returns the number for all bookmarks containing the URL or a longer version, e.g. “www.google.com” will give number for all bookmarks containing “www.google.com/…”.
  • Facebook Link Stats – Get the number of reactions, shares, and comments on Facebook.
  • Google Cached Page – Find whether a certain URL has been cached by Google.
  • Hacker News – Get the summed points, the number of comments, and the number of hits for a URL on Hacker News.
  • OpenPageRank – The ranking based on the “Open Page Rank”. The data is based on the data from Common Crawl and Common Search. Currently only ranking values for domains are available.
  • Pinterest – The number of pins of a URL on Pinterest.
  • Reddit – The number of votes and comments on Reddit.
  • SharedCount – ShareCount provides share counts, currently for the services Facebook and Pinterest.
  • Wikipedia – Determine the number of links within the Wikipedia – i.e. how often has been linked from the Wikipedia to a given URL. This service will provide two values: (1) Number of outgoing links for the URL’s domain. (2) Number of outgoing links for the URL itself. The value is always in the range from 0 … 500 due the the API (i.e. even if there would be more than 500 outgoing links, the value will be capped at this value).
