This is one part of a sample workflow to assist in the identification of suitable areas for offshore facilities. It is being developed to find suitable areas for offshore wind farms in the Dutch Exclusive Economic Zone, but adapting the input layers, filters, and the distance buffers, you can adapt it for other uses.
The complete workflow would also need to include parameters such as bathymetry, type of sediments in the sea floor, wind speed, etc. This is not an exhaustive list.
