Your colleague Bob split up the workflow into two parts, one for fetching and preprocessing the data and the other one for visualizing the data. Now the visualizing workflow calls the preprocessing workflow: This concept of workflow A calling workflow B is called orchestration. For this purpose, there are dedicated nodes which make this possible.
