<p><strong>Read Data from Microsoft Azure Cloud</strong></p><p>This workflow demonstrates how to read data files (<em>.xlsx</em>, <em>.csv</em>, <em>.txt</em>, <em>.table</em>) from Microsoft Azure Cloud.</p><p>If you want to give your acquired knowledge a test run, take a look at the Just KNIME It challenges. Authenticate your Microsoft Account via Login

Step 1: Drag the "Microsoft Authentication" node to KNIME Analytics Platform.

Step 2: Click on the node to open Dialog box. Select the Authentication mode and enter the credentials or log in via your Microsoft account. In the "Scopes of access" section, select the "Azure Blob Storage/Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2 " as scope so that you can read data from Azure Blob.

Step 3:Execute the node to finish the authentication.

Connect to Azure Blob Storage

Step 1:Drag the "Azure Blob Storage Connector" node to KNIME Analytics Platform.

Step 2: Connect the "Microsoft Authentication" node output to its input and execute the node, to get the working directory on MS Azure Blob Storage.

Read Data from Azure Blob Storage using Reader nodes

Step 1: Drag the appropriate Reader node based on the file type.

Step 2:Click on the 3 dots on the reader node and select "Add File System Connection Port" option. This will add a blue color port to the input of the node. Connect this port to the output of "Azure Blob Storage Connector" node.

Step 3: Click on the node to open Dialog box. Select the file using the "Browse" option in "file" section. Execute the node to read the file.
