Read Data from Amazon S3

This workflow demonstrates how to read data files (Text, Excel, KNIME Table and CSV) from the Amazon S3.











Authenticate your Amazon Account via Sign inStep 1: Drag the "Amazon Authentication" node to KNIMEAnalytics PlatformStep 2: Double Click on the node to open Dialog box. In the"Options" tab, select the Authentication type and enter thecredentialsStep 3: Click on "Test connection" to Select the scope of theauthentication and then Click "Ok" and execute the node to finishthe authentication. Read Data from Amazon S3 using Reader nodesStep 1: Drag the appropriate Reader node based on the filetype.Step 2: Click on the 3 dots on the Reader node and select "AddFile System Connection Port" option. This will add a bue colorport to the input of the node. Connect this port to the output of"Amazon S3 Connector" nodeStep 3: Double Click on the node to open Dialog box. In the"Read from" option "Amazon S3" will be configured. Select thefile using the "Browse" option in "file" section. Click "OK" and theexcute the node to read the file. Connect to Amazon S3 Step 1: Drag the "Amazon S3 Connector" node to KNIMEAnalytics PlatformStep 2: Double Click on the node to open Dialog box. Select the"Working directory" using the "Browse" option.
