Read Data from Google Sheets and Google Drive

This workflow demonstrates how to read data from Google Sheets and data files (Text, Excel and CSV) from Google Drive.






Read Data from Google Sheets Read Data from Google Drive Authenticate your Google Account via Sign inStep 1: Drag the "Google Authentication" node to KNIME AnalyticsPlatformStep 2: Double Click on the node to open Dialog box. In the"Authentication" tab Click on the Option "Sign in with Google" and anew tab will open in the browser. Use the browser to sign in. Step 3: Select the scope of the authentication and then click "Ok"and execute the node to finish the authentication. Connect to Google DriveStep 1: Drag the "Google Drive Connector" node to KNIMEAnalytics PlatformStep 2: Double Click on the node to open Dialog box. Select the"Working directory" using Browse Option. Step 3: Click "Ok" and execute the node Read Data from Google Drive using ReadernodesStep 1: Drag the appropriate Reader node based on the filetype.Step 2: Click on the 3 dots on the reader node and select "AddFile System Connection Port" option. This will add a blue colorport to the input of the node. Connect this port to the output of"Google Drive Connector" nodeStep 3: Double Click on the node to open Dialog box. Select thefile using the "Browse" option in "file" section. Click "Ok" andthen execute the node to read the file.
