Elasticsearch is a distributed, open source search and analytics engine for all types of data, including textual, numerical, geospatial, structured, and unstructured. Elasticsearch is built on Apache Lucene and known for its simple APIs, distributed nature, speed, and scalability.

The Elasticsearch Nodes provide you functionality to interact with Elasticsearch from within KNIME. The collection of nodes allows you to connect to Elasticsearch, create search queries in a builder-like approach, query Elasticsearch indices and aliases, receive documents and additional information and create and update documents within your cluster.
