Pinterest Extraction
PINTEREST MINI EXTRACTOR What It IsA tool to extract Pinterest content to help in finding inspirations from related topics and/or niched topicsin respect to the queried subject.Who Does It Serve? The tool benefits all creative purposes either in the physical world orin the world of digital content creation. It serves you, if you are ... a painter who'd like to venture into new arts, ora social influencer who's looking for suitable hashtags forvisibility purposes, ora blogger who's lacking topics to write, ora cook who's wondering how to twist an original recipe withmore exotic flavors, ora photographer who's digging into new areas of interest inphotography, ora YouTuber feeling uninspired. How It WorksThe extractor first makes a query to Google for the most relevant Pinterest content in respect to the queried topic. It then queries Pinterest for the target extracts.Advantages1. Easy to understand with no coding knowledge needed.2. The internal nodes were deliberately chosen to make it as intuitive as possible for any basic KNIME user to comprehend.3. No API's needed for both Google & Pinterest queries.4. Scale: A typical query results in hundreds of unique items.5. Speedy: A typical query takes less than 5 minutes for the MINI EXTRACTOR, followed by another several minutes for the optional INTERACTIVE FILTER node.6. Combination of visual and text items may help uncoveridentifiable themes, easy recognition of niched topics and/or related topics, all of which Indicate third parties' interests, helping to understand your target audience better. Limitations1. The tool is limited by the limitation of its GetRequestmethod. (But you'd be surprised of how much you'd get just from one simple query!)2. Pinterest is a User Generated Content (UGC) platform; occasionally you'll get a few items that are too distantly related to what you queried for.Caution1. The tool is never meant to be a fully-fledged scraper, nor is it designed to be so. The name reflects its simpledesign as a mini extractor.2. Since the method deployed is a GetRequest, let alone without API limits, the users are advised to not perform too many queries to theGoogle/Pinterest servers within a short time.Doing so is considered spamming and you're responsible foryour actions. Additional NotesThe tool is part of a series ofcomponents pertaining to User-Generated Content data.More to be added from time to time, considering the various social mediaplatforms that exist out there. You're invited to bookmark& share the KNIME public space with the link belowto stay updated & spread the benefit:https://hub.knime.com/badger101/spaces STEP 1Do your Google Query here.
