Scatter Plot Examples
This workflow shows how to use the Scatter Plot to visualize two columns by visually encoding each row as a different marker in a cartesian graph.Additionally the Color Manager can be added to define the color of such markers. Right click on the nodes and select "Execute and Open Views". To change the columns to be visualized double click on the nodes. To save your in-view interaction use "Apply" and "Close" in the View lower right corner. Scatter Plot - Standard settings- No colors assigned for different groups- Single selection of data points only Scatter Plot - Colors by group- The color manager node is used to a assign color attribute to different values of a categorical variable- This information is then used in the node view to color data points according to group membership Scatter Plot - Multiple selectionsRectangular selection - Click in plot area and drag mouse to select all points in rectangleLasso selection - Click in plot area while holding down ctrl/cmd key to draw selection shapeSave your Selection with "Close & Apply" in the lower right corner of the view.
