# NodePit

> NodePit is a platform for the KNIME ecosystem: a searchable catalog of KNIME nodes and workflows, a growing portfolio of KNIME extensions covering popular APIs and services, and products such as NodePit Runner (workflow automation and scheduling) and NodePit Space (personal workflow storage).

Founded in 2011 by two developers in Dresden, Germany, and launched publicly in 2017 as a KNIME node search engine. Independent and self-funded — not affiliated with KNIME AG. The catalog currently indexes 7,766 nodes and 51,069 workflows, with 7,546 registered users.
